I am continuing the View from the top New York edition with one of my favourite things I did whilst in New York for two weeks over the Christmas holidays, the Highline.
The Highline is a simple concept, it is an old disused railway that has been turned into a useable urban space. There are gardens, street art and most importantly spectacular views of New York City.
We entered the Highline on W23rd Street and straight away I was impressed how the space had been used. It runs from Gansevoort Street in the Meatpacking District, through to Chelsea. Two of the coolest neighbourhoods in New York.
