Although I have lived in London for three and a half years there is still so much of this city I am yet to see so it’s about time I start!
Richmond deer park is somewhere I have meaning to go since I used to live in West London (three years ago). Although I have spent some sunny afternoons on the river sipping cider in Richmond I have never ventured to the park.
Hyde Park in the Autumn is a beautiful place, I must get there soon before all of the leaves fall off the trees.
My local park is Hampsted Heath, I haven’t been for a few weeks since the weather turned cold but I do love a stroll on a Sunday afternoon and must go there again before the autumn leaves are all gone. Also I love having a hot chocolate at Kenwood House, last time I was there it was under construction so I hope it is all finished so it can be enjoyed in all its glory.
Churchill War Rooms
British Museum – I have been to this museum but only on a school trip with 25 seven year olds so it would be nice to enjoy it rather than worry about loosing someone!
HMS Belfast is something again I have been meaning to do for ages. Have you been on it? Is it worth it?
West end shows
I have just booked to see ‘One man two guvnors’ after I couldn’t part with the £80 per ticket for ‘Book of Mormon’. I am still wanting to see ‘Wicked’ and ‘Billy Elliot’.
Winter in London
There are also a few things to do between now and Christmas.
I will be booking ice skating at The Natural History Museum very shortly for a girly Friday night and also be locking in a date to go to Winter wonderland in Hyde Park to drink mulled wine, go on a few rides and partake in the festive season. Shopping in central London is also a real treat during this time of the year, the lights on Regent Street are always beautiful and Oxford Street Christmas lights are also fantastic and are well worth the walk from one end to the other. Bring on the next few weeks (and the mulled wine) here in London town
