The water feature was a hit with the kids (and myself after too much sun) and the buildings had been covered in a silver strip from one side of the courtyard to the other by a French artist, it will be taken down in September so it is worth a look.
The viewing platform gave a good view over to St Pancras station (my favourite station in London) and even further afield the London Eye could be seen.
The canal walk from this location to Camden Town took no more than 20 minutes, it is a nice walk as long as you are able to dodge cyclists and there are bars along the way for pit stop.
Was lovely seeing all the canal boats out and the lock house was very sweet. A great way to spend a sunny London afternoon.
