|My first trip to London|
The 1st of May or ‘May day’ as it is referred to here in the UK means to me the day I touched down in London town.
So much has happened to me since moving to this vibrant but at times unforgiving city. The three years really have flown by and I have so many fantastic memories that I will cherish for years to come.
I love having a wonderful home, I love being able to travel to Europe so often, I love
still getting excited when I see Big Ben, I love going to West End shows and I love how when the sun shines London turns into a happy place!
As much fun and happiness this place has brought me I will always remember the tough first few months here, not knowing many people, sleeping wherever I could and working in some pretty horrific schools. But all the hard work does pay off and once everything fell into place I found a home, new friends and a permanent job life became a lot easier and certainly more enjoyable.
Who knows how long I will spend here but I do want to enjoy every moment I have and I still maintain it was the best decision for me to move here, so roll on summer 2013. Here are some of my favourite London photos I have taken.
