The Blue Lagoon in Iceland is about an hour’s drive from the town of Reykjavik through a very baron landscape. We arrived to the Blue Lagoon Iceland to a very long queue out the door, it was full of eager people waiting to get a dip in this unique location in Iceland.
Once inside the entry was £30, a little over priced but it is Iceland after all and this attraction is like no other! Once inside it was time to get ready for the gorgeous Blue Lagoon Iceland pools. The changing rooms were incredibly clean and offered large mirrors, hair dryers, moisturisers, shampoo and conditioner and all these lovely touches that girls really appreciate. I did rent a towel but instantly regretted it once somebody took mine while I was in the shower.
The actual Blue Lagoon pool is incredible, it is such a sight and it is at a perfect temperature to spend hours in. My favourite part about the pool was that it had a bar fully stocked with beer and bubbly wines. I spent a whole 5 hours in the pool completely relaxed and I thoroughly enjoyed the ‘blue lagoon experience’.
