They are becoming less frequent the longer I spend here but yesterday was just one of those days.
I think I’ve found the cure though. It did help that it was an amazingly gorgeous hot day but I think what helped the most was just walking and seeing all of the things that remind me why I came here in the first place. This city is so unique in every possible way and sometimes a stroll through the city reassures that fact. The parks overlooking Buckingam Palace and Big Ben, the poor guards that have to stand there all day in their obscure uniforms, the horse guards, walking across a bridge on the Thames that overlooks the London eye, Big Ben and Houses of Parliment. Bring on the Queens Jubilee!
