Well can’t believe I was actually there, but I made it to Wimbeldon last Thursday. Got in the line at 9am and was number 6670. Had a wee picnic with wine and sammy’s and pringles to pass the time and met some lovely people along the way. Got let into the grounds about 12pm and we were literally jumping up and down with excitment!! We decided to sit on Henmins Hill (which is now named Aorangi, Maori name much?) to watch the Murray game, but it was stinking hot so decided to go and sit by a court. Watched a great men’s singles match and was actually court side! Was amazing to see how quickly the game is in real life, we then watched a womens singles match and then went and sat on the hill for the Nadal match. I would’ve paid through the roof to watch him but unfortunately there was no tickets and if you wanted to que for a few hours you could buy it later on in the day, but i’d much rather actually watch tennis! All in all it was an amazing day, one of those surreal moments. Can’t wait for next year!
